Mercury can also be determined using anodic stripping voltammetry. The determination process differs from that of lead and cadmium in that a gold rotating disk electrode is used for enrichment.

The amount of deposited mercury and therefore the sensitivity of the determination can be controlled via the deposition time. In the subsequent determination, 1/10 of the required limit value can be easily detected.

As the determination of lead and cadmium, mercury determination can be performed with the 797 VA Computrace. This merely requires exchanging the electrode set, which is quickly done since the electrodes are easily accessible.
